Oh wow Kev you are the man, I live just outside of Barnsley (TARN) and if i had known you were coming to my town i would have loved to meet you and get a selfie. Did you see the £12m bridge that leads to nowhere. The thing that bothers me about using trains is i don't use them very often only to go to meadowhall or maybe in to sheffield and to buy a ticket before i travel is just not practical for me because if i can travel by bus i will do as it's cheaper and i would only jump on a train on impulse, also i don't usually have internet on the phone to go online to buy a train ticket and sometimes it could be a return journey or not it depends on where i am going and plus i'm usually running late like when i was always the last one on and last one off the football pitch as a kid so i don't have the time half of the time, if they tried to do me with a penalty i would kick up a noise. Sometimes i get the old lecture from the conductor about buying tickets before i board and i explain i don't use trains often and i did not know, they love to power trip. I don't like the way things work. I was a teen in the 90s so i take no sh1t. I was working in meadowhall once and i got on the train monday morning and there was no conductor on there's aslo no ticket offic at the train station so when i came to get off at meadowhall they were there laying in wait for me ready to pounce, of course i had no ticket and had not paid so i got ready to run. My intentions were to buy a weekly pass from inside the building from the automated piece of sh1t machine. They guys saw me trying to go round to the right side of them and began to make their move, i saw this and tried to evade to the left then back to the right but i was soon collared. This guy asked me why i tried to run and i explained the situation i thought he was gonna do me for a penalty but instead he let me go and buy the ticket and come back to show him it sure was a close shave.

Just to clarify, If you board without a ticket at a station where you could have bought a ticket, you get a 100 pound fine. That's fair..But can they make you then buy a ticket as well? Cause I'm thinking I could board in edinburgh without a ticket and just pay the 100 fine if caught on my way to London.. or do they kick you off at the next station if you dont buy a ticket as well.

None of these police officers are worth there bread and butter as far as I’m concerned. We have asylum seekers running round with machetes and knives and the police are no where to be seen, start filming with a mobile device and its terror laws and public order offences. Cops are the most belligerent egotistical narcissists i have ever met. Defund the police and start a proper Peace Force that doesn’t protect criminals and nonces.
